A little rainy weather did not stop R.G. Anderson Company, Inc. (RGA), Dr. Adrienne Battle (Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools Director), and Mayor John Cooper from breaking ground on what will be a brand new, state-of-the-art elementary school in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
The school's principal, Mayor Cooper, and Dr. Battle all spoke and welcomed the children, parents, and staff in attendance. The students sang several songs to mark the special day, and they even got to help shovel some dirt. Yes, RGA made sure to provide dirt for the kids to shovel inside.
The school is scheduled to open in August 2023.
