OUR FOUNDER
A Nashville native with more than 40 years of experience.
Bob Anderson possesses extensive expertise in all types of construction. His leadership skills in project planning and project management have positioned him as a genuine asset to clients and colleagues alike.
Prior to founding R.G. Anderson, Bob led Rodgers Construction Co. for nearly a decade. He joined Rodgers Construction after receiving his Bachelors of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University. Through talent and hard work, he rose through the ranks from trainee to management to the executive suite, and eventually being named president. During his tenure at Rodgers, the Nashville-based company grew from a small metal building contractor to one of the most prolific builders of healthcare facilities and one of the ten largest building contractors in the United States.

Bob brought this same drive for excellence to R.G. Anderson, growing the company from a small founding team to a Middle Tennessee construction industry fixture. Under his leadership, R.G. Anderson has received numerous awards for excellence in construction from the Associated Builders and Contractors, among others.

Bob lives in Nashville with Cherry, his wife of over 40 years, where they have two grown children and two grand children.
