Poplar Hill Elementary School is set to open its doors in August for the 2025-2026 school year, bringing a new state-of-the-art educational facility to the community. 

Located halfway between Murfreesboro and Smyrna, the 35-classroom school is designed to accommodate up to 1,200 students and will create more than 100 new jobs. Nearly 800 students are expected to enroll in its inaugural year. 

Poplar Hill Elementary will primarily serve families from the Smyrna school zone, helping to ease overcrowding and support the area’s growing population.
