PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The new three-story, 32,000-square-foot addition provides a permanent facility designed to support workforce development, family services, and community outreach for the Martha O'Bryan (MOBC) program. Facility spaces include job training rooms, family counseling areas, and skills development classrooms. The project also features new early childhood education classrooms, a modernized food bank, and administrative offices for MOBC’s expanding services.
The addition reorients the building with a prominent front porch and entry facing the street, creating a more accessible and community-focused presence in the Cayce Neighborhood. Architecturally, the design carries forward the multi-colored panel aesthetic established by the adjacent Explore School, integrating it throughout the expanded campus for a unified visual identity.
The project scope includes structural steel framing, reinforced concrete foundations, and energy-efficient MEP systems to meet long-term operational needs.
